a. A singer can connect with their audience by identifying what the lyric means and who it is directed to.

b. A singer can really convey the meaning of a lyric and express it to their audience through their body language. If a lyric is speaking directly to the singer looking down or closing your eyes would be a good way of portraying that.

A singer can connect with their audience by kneeing who they are addressing in their lyrics, and properly expressing the message of their lyrics through identifying what it means, who it's directed to, knowing what energy to use, body language, and by using imagery to convey an experience through the song.
