Blog #4: Interview Preperation

I'm going to be interviewing my current mentor, Lesa James, for my first interview. Lesa runs her own promotional group so she knows a lot about the business , and she just seems like a good base to start off with. Since Lesa J is the owner of the group she has connections with everyone from singers, performers, DJ's, producers, etc. so she can probably point me in the right direction for my next interview.

Additional questions that I will most likely add on to the five questions that are required:

• What motivated you/influenced you to start the bricktoyaface promotional group?
• What do you believe is one of the most important things needed to survive in this industry?
• What does being successful mean to you? 
• You have seen many performers come and go. Is there a common factor between all those that succeed or all those who don't?
•  If not, what are some things you have noticed first-hand of artists that have been successful?
